MSE-201: Microsoft Excel Level 2
Overview:
This one-day course provides students with the skills and concepts necessary to create charts and to use the list-management capabilities of Microsoft Excel.
Prerequisites:
Prior to attending this class, students should have the following experience:
- Understanding of the basic concepts involved in working with a personal computer (PC)
- Familiarity with the Windows interface
- Microsoft Excel - Level 1, or equivalent knowledge
Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
- Create charts that graphically represent worksheet data.
- Modify charts.
- Customize charts by applying formatting.
- Enhance worksheets and charts by using the drawing tools to add graphic objects.
- Sort information in a list by using the Data, Sort command.
- Locate information quickly in a list that meets specified conditions by using the Advanced Filter feature.
