• Introduction to UNIX
This four-day course provides the student with the knowledge to interact with a UNIX operating system. Students will develop their UNIX skills with hands-on experience on Sun’s Solaris OS, the most popular UNIX operating system in the world.
• Solaris System Administration I
This five-day course focuses on providing students the skills and knowledge to administer a Solaris 2.x Sparc Station. Students will learn how to administer the Sparc as either a stand-alone or a networked machine.
• Solaris System Administration II
This five-day course focuses on providing students advanced skills and knowledge to administer a Solaris 2.x Sparc Station.
• Solaris System Security
This four-day class enhances system administrations’ abilities to develop practical security measures on their Solaris machines. Students will be provided hands-on experience in addition to valuable security knowledge.
• Bourne Shell Programming
This three-day programming class provides system administrators the knowledge to create Bourne Shell scripts. Students will develop experience to automate system tasks via hands-on programming exercises in conjunction with the lecture.
