Overview:
This two-day course with hands-on workshops is designed for Java programmers who wish to learn how to design servlets in object-oriented systems.

Prerequisites:
Prior to attending this class, students should have the following experience:

  • Familiarity with the Java Programming Language

Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:

  • understand the advantages of JSP
  • understand the role of the JSP engine
  • design HTML or XML tags
  • use JSP directives and components
  • use JSP scriptlets
  • install and run JSP programs
  • design JSP with exception handling
  • perform state management with JSP
